1. Michael KEARNS was born about 1817 in Ireland. His parents were born in Ireland. He married  Mary CONNAUGHTON. Mary and her parents were born in Ireland. In 2005, Georgeann visited
the townland of Derryvode, Parish of Templetogher, County Galway, Ireland. This is where Michael and Mary Connaughton Kearns's son was born in 1848. Georgeann visited a Kearns home which was built in the early 1800s (or earlier). It was across from a home owned by a Connaughton family. Kearns Matthew 55 ? Son   born Ireland & parents born Ireland
Kearns James 30 Son born about 1850 born Ireland & parents born Ireland
Kearns Bridget 17 Daughter born about 1863 born Ireland & parents born Ireland

Michael and Mary Kearns and many relatives are buried at Lagonda Cemetery, Springfield, Ohio:

Mary Kearns Died 8/17/1907 Age 90 Born about 1817

2. JAMES KEARNS was born 1848 in Ireland, died at 72 years of age on March 20, 1920, buried Calvary Cemetery, Springfield, Clark County, Ohio.  Informant on James KEARNS' death certificate was Michael KEARNS, Southern Avenue. James Kearns was a blacksmith. His death certificate listed his occupation as a nightwatchman.3/20/1920 Death Certificate Number 19760, Volume Number 3229, Clark County, Ohio per Ohio Historical Society's Death Certificate Index.

James Kearns was listed with parents on 1880 census. His occupation was working at Champion Machine Shop. He probably married Hannah Morrisy after 1880 but before 1883.
