book titled Moylough - Mount Bellow that was a Ph.D.
dissertation about the place pre-1600
another book
post 1600 - several pages on DUGGAN - if the book is correct my
ancestors include Peter Doogan who was on land in 1855 that
passed on Edward and Bridget Geraghty. I know that Edward and
Bridget Geraghty are my ancestors. It makes sense that this
'Peter Doogan' is her father but maybe he was an uncle, another
relative, or unrelated? Since they named a child Peter
(1863-1915) he was probably named for Peter Doogan.

listings for Menlough in Galway County in Lewis' Topographic

weekend about 5/13-16 rent car to get to Galway Templetogher - to search for KEARNS - in the Springfield Ohio old Catholic cemetery one of the KEARNS grave markers states he was from the parish of Templetogher in Galway. I am not certain if this Kearns is related to mine but there are similar names for children so I'm going to look through parish records at the National Library then go there.
Galway City National University, Galway library again. I found several out of print books there during the last visit but didn't have enough time to xerox as much as I
want
